Secret Nature will always stay strictly indoor-grown. The new Secret Nature sub-brand Elysian, though, features greenhouse-grown buds that are almost just as good for a considerably lower price.

I came into trying the new delta 8 version of Secret OG without high expectations due to my existing opinions on outdoor or greenhouse-grown flower. The quality of my Elysian buds surprised me plenty, but I sure wasn’t expecting to get that hgh, either.

Secret OG is one of the best hemp strains ever bred, and growing it in a greenhouse did little to sully the glory of this high-CBD cultivar. In most cases, the idea of “spraying flower with delta 8” should wrinkle the noses of anyone in the know, but Secret Nature perfects the art by spraying high-quality delta 8 distillate, not crappy, bad-tasting isolate.

#2) FIRST IMPRESSIONS

If you sit there and dedicate the time, vaping Secret OG Delta 8 flower provides an impressively intense high. I didn’t try smoking it, but my experience with the Secret Nature Delta 8 Blunt leads me to believe that Secret OG Delta 8 flower would provide a smooth and pleasant smoke as well.

• Packaging a little bit disappointing
• But, only compared to normal Secret Nature packaging
• Buds look almost as good as SN’s indoor-grown
• They feel incredibly sticky
• Very dense with a nice bud structure
• Even though the buds are so sticky with distillate, they still vape well
• Smoothest overall delta 8 product I’ve ever inhaled
• An average bowl lasts 10-15 hits in a Volcano Classic
• That’s enough to get you intensely high
• The high lasts around 2 hours

Secret Nature’s usual packaging is so amazing that Elysian can’t hold a candle. Oh well, that’s not the point. The point is that you can snag an eighth of Secret Nature Elysian bud for $25 MSRP and often a lot less with discounts.

• Harder to reseal, aesthetics aren’t as good
• That’s reflective, though, of the fact that Elysian is a budget brand

#4) SMOKE

The texture, taste, and body of the vapor my Elysian Secret OG Delta 8 buds emitted were all top-notch. I was actually amazed I was vaping greenhouse flower, which almost always tastes worse than this and delivers less-than-impressive effects.

#5) FLAVOR

This flower tasted just like the Secret OG I know and love but with a slightly different throat hit. It’s hard to describe, but I could detect the presence of added distillate just in the way the smoke tasted. The flavor wasn’t bad at all, it just distinguished the delta 8 form of Secret OG hemp flower from its indoor-grown, non-sprayed CBD counterpart.

It wouldn’t be an exaggeration to say the effects of my Elysian Secret Nature Delta 8 flower stupefied me. True, I’m the type to sip on a vape cartridge hit here or there throughout the day, and it had been a while since I’d sat down to a dedicated Volcano Classic THC vaping session.

But wow, man. That’s delta 8 like I’ve never experienced it before. Ten or so hits in, my flower still tasted great; a testament to its excellent quality despite being greenhouse-grown. Me, though? I was even more baked than my buds.

If you’ve ever used a Volcano Classic, you know it can take a few minutes for your buds to bake properly and start emitting serious clouds. Even so, I was delta-8-stoned after only a few hits, and I kept vaping just to see how high I could get.
